Great news for Edward Scissorhands and Family Guy fans alike! Johnny Depp's character from Tim Burton's 1990 film Edward Scissorhands will be making a guest appearance on Seth MacFarlane's hit show in an upcoming episode. Executive Producer Mark Hentemann said Depp "hadn't done that voice since he did it in front of the camera," but "he was able to snap right back into Edward Scissorhands once we pulled up a clip from the movie. He was amazing." Hopefully this revival turns out to be as amazing as Depp's acting skills, and that the animated guest role does justice to the original character. As Depp reportedly watches the show regularly with his children, this episode may serve as a way for them to connect over one of his past roles, bringing the '90s into the now. ~Morgan Bates

Why must they ruin a classic movie character by putting him on the most ridiculous show on television today?
