Iconic singer Elton John is not afraid to speak his mind, especially when it comes to Madonna. In an interview with Australia’s Channel 7, John bashed the pop singer, saying her “career is over” and her tour “has been a disaster.” This time, part of John’s outlash was due to Madonna’s feud with Lady Gaga, who happens to be the godmother of John’s son Zachary. The feud between the Queen of Pop and Gaga is over similarities between Madonna’s “Express Yourself” and Gaga’s “Born This Way.”
John commented, “If Madonna had any common sense she would have made a record like Ray of Light and stayed away from the dance stuff and just been a great pop singer and make great pop records, which she does brilliantly.” However, since Madonna has not simply stuck to this, John claims that the singer “looks like like a f--king fairground stripper” and is a complete nightmare. John and Madonna’s lash outs at each other have occurred throughout their careers, including earlier this year at the Golden Globe Awards when they were up against each other for Best Original Song. While John stated, “Madonna hasn't got a f--king chance,” it was in fact Madonna who won. It seems there’s just no end in sight for the ongoing feud between these two iconic singers. ~Isabelle Khoo

yea elton !! king of the temper tantrums and drug abuse when he was popular. dont recall madonna being a drug crazed lunatic at any point,but i dont really follow pop music as such anyway. auto tuning = fail. still, i do have her "sex" book,which i would hazard a guess, and im going out on a limb here,would be easier on the eyes than eltons would have been. just sayin' is all
Not exactly the most respectable things to say, but I definitely agree that Madonna should've stopped years ago. No doubt she is still making money but with the unnecessary controversy etc. its just time for her to relax and spend the massive amount of money she has made and chill with her kids. Do an 'OMG MADONNA IS ACTUALLY DOING A TOUR..I HAVEN'T SEEN HER IN YEARS' tour or two and be done with it. Worst Superbowl half time decision in a while
Elton is right. Madonna looks like your grandmother trying to be cool with your teenage friends. Its just wrong. She really needs to be relavent to her age group. Trying to connect to people who are 30 years younger than you is desparate. Madonna you also look rediculus on stage trying to be what you were in the 80's.
