Emma Roberts gets book gift from Jamie Lee Curtis

Emma RobertsJamie Lee Curtis gave Emma Roberts a ”sweet surprise” of two books.

The 24-year-old star was gifted the present Tuesday morning, indicating the pair have bonded while shooting horror comedy series Scream Queens.

Along with a photo of the tomes, she wrote on Instagram: ”What a sweet surprise in my trailer this morning from @curtisleejamie. Just when I thought I couldn’t love her more!”

Emma – who is filming for the Fox show in New Orleans, Louisiana with Jamie – seemed thrilled with the unexpected presents, with one being a personal memoir by photographer Sally Mann titled Hold Still, and the other being Honey Girl by Lisa Freeman, which comes specially recommended by the 56-year-old actress.

In a recommendation printed on the front of the novel, she gushes: ”Where was this book when I was 15? Honey Girl is a daring debut. A fierce story of female friendship, earned acceptance, and following the unwritten rules of Southern California beach boy and girl culture in the 70s.”

However, the books may have to wait as the self-confessed book worm is busy shooting the first 15-episode installment of the show, as well as thriller movie Nerve, and reading Valley Fever: A Novel by Katherine Taylor, which she posted a photo of on Instagram last week.
