Fantastic Four official teaser trailer

The new Fantastic Four teaser trailer starts off almost like an Interstellar teaser. There’s a dirt road, talk of space and shots of the sky. We quickly get introduced to an origin story of familiar characters and what happens when we discover the unknown. Fantastic Four has been reborn in what looks to be a darker storyline, featuring a younger cast than those who were in the 2005 version. This time around we’ve got Miles Teller (Reed Richards/ Mr. Fantastic), Jamie Bell (Ben Grimm/ The Thing), Michael B. Jordan (Johnny Storm/ The Human Torch) and  Kate Mara (Sue Storm/ Invisible Woman).

With Josh Trank taking the helm as director, the reboot looks as though there is more story and actual science in this sci-fi story than its predecessor. Right now we can’t tell much, having only a teaser trailer released, but we can only assume this new Fantastic Four story will delve deeper into the background of these four superheroes.

Fantastic Four is set to release August 7, 2015. After seeing the trailer, are you excited for the reboot?
