Former Zoey 101 co-star Alexa Nikolas, 16, opened up to TMZ.com about Jamie Lynn Spears and the reason why she (Alexa) left the series after two seasons. Commenting on Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy, the perky star said, “I really hope she makes more responsible decisions in her future, because that’s intense! That’s a child!” Nikolas says she left the show because of the “uncomfortable working environment,” adding, “me and Jamie Lynn, we do not speak anymore.” She went on to say that meeting Britney Spears on the set was great at first, but then “after that, we had some miscommunication.” She declined to further comment, saying it was personal, but added that she loves Brit’s new song, “Gimme More,” and wishes her the best.

Fan, Jamie Lyn and Britney do have family support. Britney’s parents stepped in when she was on the path of self destruction instead of turning a blind eye and enabling her like Lindsay Lohan’s mother does with her and Jamie Lyn has it lot better than many teen mothers have it. Both women have never said anything about having no family support, Britney has always said that her family is supportive.
As for, Why is the finger always being pointed at the women…why is the finger always pointed at the parents? A parent can show as much love and support to their children, it’s not going to prevent their kid from having a mental break down or becoming becoming a teenage mother (or father)
