Frankie Muniz denies being suicidal, assault

A police report filed last Friday alleges former child star Frankie Muniz punched his girlfriend Elycia Turnbow, then put a gun to his head, but days later, Muniz’s rep released a statement denying it. The statement read: “Frankie and Elycia had an argument a few days ago. The police were called to the residence. A gun played no part in the argument and was voluntarily given to the police for safekeeping. There were no bruises and neither left the residence. He was not suicidal. She was not assaulted. They have been together since the incident; are still together and are moving forward with their lives and with their relationship.” The police report states that Turnbow claimed Muniz “grabbed a gun and held it to his head, possibly with the intent of committing suicide.” She became worried and called one of his friends to take him to the hospital. She says when Muniz returned from the hospital, they started arguing again and he “punched her in the back of the head, and threw her into a wall.” In Muniz’s statement to the police, he said Turnbow was screaming at him and he went to the hospital after he “fell and hit his head.” When police arrived on scene, he denied punching Turnbow, saying, “I love her too much. She is the woman I want to marry.” A loaded gun was confiscated by police, but there were no visible injuries and no one was arrested.

When their out of the limelight, they find ways for people to talk about them again. What has he done in the last few years? Why do we care?

What is it about celebrities that makes girls latch onto them, even when they’re not famous or successful anymore?

One more “child star” that is not making the transition to adult without the “hollywood” disease being part of who he is.How many have failed and ended up killing themselves? Or worse, hurting others.

She should leave this guy before it’s too late, she can do way better than him anyways.

Agreed, RJ. Child stars almost always have a difficult time once they’re out of the limelight. I think it’s because part of their childhood was stolen, so they act immature as adults.

Like the Mel Gibson case there seems to be mixed information in this article. Personally for me I will wait to see what happens and what addition information comes to light. I do agree though that so many childhood stars need to step back and take check of their lives at the end of their younger roles before trying to jump two feet in to the adult area.

Wow. They won’t last. This crap is starting for them already. I wouldn’t associate Frankie with Mel quite yet. Mel is in a league of his own.
