Bonding over the trials and triumphs of high school life, the gang from Glee will meet up with Archie and his pals in a four-issue series of comic books to be released late this year or early 2013. After meeting at Comic-Con, co-chief executive officer of Archie Comics, Jon Goldwater, and Glee writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa decided to blend their projects to create something new. This venture shows just how huge the Glee franchise has become and will serve as another way for Glee fans to interact with their favorite series, adding to the live shows, CDs and spin-off, The Glee Project, in which contestants compete for a role on Glee. It could also turn out to be a way to bridge the generation gap, having young fans of the show find an interest in a comic book from their parents' childhood and vice versa. ~Morgan Bates
