Gwyneth Paltrow admires adulterous friends

Gwyneth Paltrow, 38, who’s currently at the Venice Film Festival promoting her new movie Contagion, spoke with the press about romance. She admitted: “I am a great romantic – but I also think you can be a romantic and a realist. Life is complicated and long and I know people that I respect and admire and look up to who have had extra-marital affairs. It’s like we’re flawed – we’re human beings and sometimes you make choices that other people are going to judge. That’s their problem but I think that the more I live my life, the more I learn not to judge people for what they do. I think we’re all trying our best but life is complicated.” Gwyneth has been married to singer Chris Martin of Coldplay for seven years, and they have two children Apple, seven, and five-year-old Moses. She added: “I’m lucky – I have a wonderful, blessed life. I have two fantastically delightful children and a very nice husband… Knock on wood.” It may be of interest to note that a new U.S. study has found less men than women cheat on their partners, contrary to what most people believe. Although infidelity has fallen sharply over the last three decades, the survey found 14 per cent of women admitted to having sex with someone else, compared to 10 per cent of men. Contagion debuts this Friday in theaters.

It’s not the judgment of other human beings you need to worry about when it comes to adultery and infidelity.

How much would she admire them if they covered up for her husband if he cheated? Because if they don’t mind cheating themselves on their loved ones, they don’t care if other people cheat and will even help them cover it up.

Sad state of affairs so-to-speak if you admire people who cheat. I’m sure she’d be heartbroken to find her husband with another woman!
Also infidelity has fallen sharply? well it’s based on a poll of people ‘admitting’ they cheat. Kinda a flawed statistic if you ask me. People may think that they were asked in confidence, but I think people would still deny deny deny..especially if they already have lived with the lie.

Whenever Gwyneth decides to embark on an extra-marital affair I would like her to know that my door’s always open… also my pants.

Me wonders if this is a precursor to an “adulterous affair” on either part… A little warm-up before the BIG news breaks? Clearly, I’m bored and can’t sleep tonight….

Her saying that she admire’s someone who lies to their spouse and themselves is disturbing to me. It is one thing if you and your spouse enter in to a relationship where there is an expectation of ‘openness’. It is another issue all-together to cheat when there isn’t.

    I knew I didn’t like Gwyneth

PETA wrote and asked her to Not wear fur(not that I respect PETA either). But she never had the commom decency to reply back to them. But she might have later on, I don’t know. I haven’t liked her since then. She admires people who lie etc.?? Would she Respect her husband if he cheated on her?? I haven’t liked her since then.

This is missleading. She says that some people she admires have had extra marital affairs. That doesn’t mean she admires them FOR that but inspite of it. A great actor is a great actor, no matter how many times he cheated on his wife. Clinton was as horny as a teenager but was still a good President. You can still admire someone even when they have flaws, that’s common sense to me.

PETA BLOWS! They should be sent to Guantanomo Bay and waterboarded!

JFK cheated more than Clinton, I admire JFK more than Clinton.
The US study found less men than women cheat on there partners, so who are these women cheating with?
Must have been a man that did the survey and crunched the figures.

It’s nice to see the truth revealed. I’ve been saying for years that women are the ones doing most of the “cheating”, but women are constantly trying to make it look like men do it. Women are always complaining about men having affairs, meanwhile they’re doing it even more. Why? Well, society just doesn’t want to believe that women, or your wife, or worse, your mother, is a slut who commits adultery. Sounds like Ms. Paltrow is just trying to justify any past or future cheating she may do or has already done on her husband. Keep it in your pants there Gwyneth. You got married, respect the vows and stop trying to justify why your girlfriends are cheating on their significant others. There is NO EXCUSE for it.

hey, I heard of a survey that said surveys are not always accurate…please

all situations are not the same either, whatever choices my friends/family make in life, are theirs…
