Gwyneth Paltrow angers followers with N-word

By Tribute on June 6, 2012 | 6 Comments

Gwyneth Paltrow will need to be “country strong” to get past this incident. The Iron Man actress angered Twitter followers recently when she tweeted the N-word while attending Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Watch the Throne concert in Paris. “N—gas in Paris for real” she tweeted, attaching a photo taken backstage. While the tweet was obviously a reference to their hit Billboard track instead of a racially insensitive slur, not everyone was pleased with her liberal use of the word, causing her to fire back, “Hold up. It’s the title of the song!” Paltrow has long admitted to being a huge fan of rap music and even took her young children to their London concert just last month. She and husband Chris Martin have been close friends with Jay-Z for years and collaborated for a remix of the Coldplay song “Lost.”~Kyle Sharp

Unbelievable, relax people, it’s not used offensively here. I hate when black people complain about the very mention of the word by white people, but they can use it freely and excessively. In my experience, they don’t even mind if Hispanics, Arabs, etc use it, they only freak out when it’s used by white people. You single out a race for using a word, who’s racist now? If you guys really want racism to disappear, then all races must stop using the fu**ing word, blacks included.

Seriously some people need to be educated properly. “Nigga” is not the n word. “Nigger” on the other hand… Anyways, it’s all a matter of context. In this case my homie G.Pal ain’t Nuthin’ But A G Thang … baby!

The world needs more Don Rickles 🙂 Paul Mooney (look him up if you don’t recognize the name) said that he would stop using the N-word after Michael Richards’ incident showed the hate associated with the term. The use will change the meaning. Remember, “bitch” can be meant in a very hurtful manner; “bee-atch” can be seen as a term of enderment.

I honestly think that people should stop using the word nigga, period. Whoever made up a word that sounds so close to a word so offensive, people won’t even say it out loud (they just say “the n word”)was not very intelligent.
