It’s a boy for Malin Akerman

Swedish-Canadian actress and Rock of Ages star Malin Akerman has given birth to her first child, a boy named Sebastian Zincone. The Children’s Hospital actress excitedly confirmed the news on Twitter, writing, “My husband and I welcomed our beautiful, healthy baby boy to this world this morning! Biggest joy of my life!!! #lovemykid” Malin, 34, who has appeared in hit films such as Watchmen, The Proposal and Couples Retreat, wed The Petalstones drummer Roberto Zincone in 2007. The pair met in 2003 when Malin was the band’s lead singer, before she left to focus on her acting career. The couple had been eagerly awaiting the arrival of their bundle of joy, telling Us Weekly, “We’ve been together long enough, we’ve talked about it enough that it just feels really right and we can’t wait.” ~Lisa Perri
