Jaden Smith is the newest face of Louis Vuitton – but there’s a twist – he’s representing clothing for women.
The 17-year-old actor-and-rapper – the son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith – will fronting the luxury fashion house’s forthcoming Spring/Summer 2016 Womenswear campaign, featuring gender-neutral clothing.
The news was announced by the brand’s creative director, Nicolas Ghesquière on Instagram when he uploaded a photograph from the campaign of Jaden wearing in a black skirt, fringed vest and a biker jacket.
He accompanied the shot with the caption: ”Happy to introduce Jaden Smith @christiaingrey in the new SS16 @louisvuitton ad Campaign photographed by Bruce Weber.”
Jaden, who is known for his eccentric fashion choices, has worn dresses in public before and tweeted about shopping for “girl clothes” last year.
Meanwhile, last year proved a successful year for the young talent as he also launched his clothing line, MSFTSrep.
It’s also believed the After Earth star – who recently compared himself to Italian scientist and scholar Galileo – is penning a book on philosophy in a bid to inspire people.
A source said last month: ”Jaden sees himself as a modern-day prophet and is working on a collection of essays. They’re new takes on string theory and chaos theory, but more mystical. He hopes to have a spiritual following when he releases these.”

This kid is a quack…
Philosophy? String theory? So should not comment on things you are not qualified to talk about.
He’ll do a fine job, I’m sure.
