Sunday night at the Black Entertainment Awards Michael Jackson’s younger sister Janet gave a short, heartfelt speech, saying, “On behalf of my family and myself, thank you for all of your love, thank you for all of your support. We miss him so much. Thank you so much.”  Though Jamie Foxx had earlier in the ceremony told the viewers, “No need to be sad. We want to celebrate this black man. We gonna go through all of Michael Jackson,” his duet of “I’ll Be There” with Ne-Yo as photos of Michael flashed on a huge screen behind them to close out the show brought tears to the eyes of many, both at Los Angeles’s Shrine Auditorium and at home.

so do i. imagine how bad that would be, not knowing if the doctor was involved? having to wait for another autopsy? terrible.

That must have been so hard for her to get up on stage and say that without breaking down. I’ve always liked Janet and Michael, don’t know as much about the others, they haven’t been in the limelight as much.
