Jennifer Hudson, 27, has given birth to a baby boy. Her publicist, Lisa Kasteler announced the news, saying the Oscar-winner and her fiancé, David Otunga, were “ecstatic” about the arrival of their “beautiful and perfect” 7 pounds, 14 oz. baby boy, who arrived without complication yesterday. They’re planning to name the infant David Daniel Otunga Jr. Hudson never officially announced her pregnancy, but performed at the Michael Jackson memorial last month with a noticeable baby bump. Hudson was a finalist on American Idol in 2004 before winning an Oscar for her performance in the musical Dreamgirls.

Couldn’t be happier for a woman who has been through hell and back the last year after losing most of her family. SO happy that she and her husband are now proud parents!! Congratulations to the both of you!!
