When three-time Emmy and Golden Globe winning actor Jeremy Piven comes to Toronto to promote his upcoming film The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard, he’ll be made an honorary member of the CFL’s Toronto Argonauts when he’s presented with his own jersey by Quarterback Kerry Joseph, Defensive Tackle Adriano “The Kissing Bandit” Belli and Vice Chair Michael “Pinball” Clemons. The public is invited to the presentation, which will take place Thursday, July 30 at 3:15 p.m. outside of Gate 11, Rogers Centre, 1 Blue Jays Way (corner of Bremner and Navy Wharf). Piven’s new comedy, about a man asked to help an ailing car dealership, also stars Ving Rhames and James Brolin and debuts in theaters on August 14.

I wonder why the Argo’s are giving him this presentation? He’s NOT Canadian and it’s not like he’s doing a movie about football? I love the guy, but wonder why they are doing this, just find it weird?? Anyone else find it strange that they would do this and for what reason?
