They may be the most unlikely couple of 2009, but it’s now official. Jessica Simpson is dating Smashing Pumpkins singer Billy Corgan. The 29-year-old starlet is spellbound over the 42-year-old singer, who just released the first portion of his 44-song Smashing Pumpkins album. However, in other news, E! magazine learned from a close source to Simpson that her friends are a bit jaded by her love affairs, after her short-lived marriage to Nick Lachey and her romance with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. Speaking of what Simpson’s friends think of her latest flame, the source revealed, “They think he’s too old for her. No one takes any of her boyfriends seriously anymore because she has had so many. They’re sick of all of them being ‘the one.'” The new lovebirds met during a party in Los Angeles in November. ~Jean Rouleau

Jessica has become a pathetic needy little girl. She seems to be totally incapable of having a normal lasting relationship. Anybody notice that these guys she is hooking up with are guys that are successful in the music biz with exception to Tony though he is successful in football. Why isn’t she off writing music, making a new album and trying to be alone for a change so she can find out about herself, find out who she is and what she needs to do to get her career back on track. This hopping from guy to guy is getting her nowhere and it won’t be long before her face and body start showing signs of age and if you pay attention to what makes her tick, she uses her sex appeal to get by instead of trusting in herself and her voice. She has proved herself to be an exceptionally needy person!

As human beings our goal in this life is not to live an everlasting romantic relationship. Though some people are in search of their “one”, it is difficult for me to believe there is “one” for everybody. Jessica is as entitled as anyone else to figure out who she may want to spend the rest of her life with. And I emphasis “the rest of her life” – why the focus on her age, or anyone’s age for that matter. Some people may never mature enough to be ready for a romantic relationship in their entire lifetime. Give yourself time. Don’t let your biological urges get the best of you – if you did you may not be any better to marry than Tiger Woods was. In the meantime, or for the long haul, we are here to be good and kind to each other. People, let’s be nice. Just my humble opinion.
no one does take her seriously and that is her doing…remember chicken of the sea? Do buffalo have wings? absolutely zero domestic skills, not even the basics that most people are born with…the problem is she is a spoiled rotten brat, never had to work for much, and her sister isn’t any better. Whoever above said she needs to be alone to figure herself out is absolutely right. It’s nice to have someone but you have to be able to be alone too.

I do hope she figures herself out and can find happiness, and I agree that she should learn how to be happy without a man as well as being happy with a man, but I also feel that it isn’t her friends business who she dates, unless they feel her safety is in jeopardy.
