Football player Tony Romo upset his girlfriend Jessica Simpson when he compared her unfavorably to his ex-girlfriend, American Idol winner Carrie Underwood. According to OK! magazine, he told Simpson to her face that he thinks Underwood is a better singer. A friend of the couple told the magazine: “He really hurt Jess’ feelings. She tried to laugh it off in Hawaii (where Tony played in the Pro Bowl), but she pouted whenever she heard Carrie’s songs playing.” Romo also doesn’t think Jessica’s venture into country music will be successful. The source added: “Tony said he thought Jess would have trouble winning over audiences with her upcoming country CD.”

Romo, you fool. Never tell a girl the truth, that’s the last thing they want to hear. It’s equivalent to the “do I look fat in these jeans” question.
I think Carrie is a better singer too, but Jessica needs to nip that mouth in the bud! She needs to make him realize that she is not going to put up with that, and if she doesn’t, who knows what will come out of his mouth next!!!???

Can’t figure why she’d be so hurt by that comment from Tony. He speaks the truth and if the truth hurts, too bad. Maybe she’ll do the world a favour and stop pretending to be a singer and go back to doing what she’s good at. Dude was just telling the truth. But as the first comment suggests, women do NOT want to hear the truth. The girl CAN sing, but then again so can the coyotes in the valley behind my house. I just think that her stock was over-inflated by many, and marrying Nick Lachey (Boy Band) brought millions more screaming teenies to buy her albums. And we know the musical worth of those boy bands does not tally up to much(other than pre-pubescent girls screaming). It’s all about marketing and beauty. Professional sports is the only place these days that you can find legit talent that isn’t based on looks.

Tributegirl, na he had a good season but for 2 games. For his Efforts he went to his 2nd straight Pro bowl after being awarded a new 60 million dollar contract.
and that would be why she’s interested in him! better he get rid of her now before she “accidentally” gets pregnant and gets her hooks into his bank account.
She probably is only venturing into the Country world so that she will be a little “like” Carrie. I strongly believe she does not have a great self esteem and needs the reassurance that she is better than Tony’s ex. So SAD!!!
