Justin Bieber, 18, was pulled over for speeding on the 101 Freeway in Los Angeles last Friday, July 6. The singer claims he was trying to get away from paparazzi. Witness Dennis Zine, a Los Angeles City Councilman who was also an L.A.P.D. motor officer for 18 years, told the press he believes Bieber should have been arrested and should lose his licence. He claimed that Bieber’s speed exceeded 100 miles per hour. However, Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun, said Bieber was clocked going 80 miles per hour, due to being chased by photographers. The paparazzi continued to chase him even after he was pulled over. The singer then called 911 for help. Although Zine and Braun disagree about Bieber’s actions on the road, they both agree that the paparazzi caused dangerous driving conditions. The California Highway Patrol is now looking into the possibility of the paparazzi acting irresponsibly, says a law enforcement source. ~Isabelle Khoo

Bieber is on a slippery slope. I do not see this kid lasting much longer.
Seriously? The paparazzi might've been reckless but why would the LAPD lie about Bieber speeding?
How did the paparazzi knew it was him? That car is totally conspicuous.
I don't doubt that he was speeding but if he was being chased by a celebrity photographer he had a good reason.
