Justin BieberJohnny Depp gave Justin Bieber his hat.

The “Sorry” singer was shocked when the Pirates of the Caribbean actor unexpectedly visited him in his hotel and presented him with the “cool” headwear before turning up to one of his gigs accompanied by his 16-year-old daughter Lily-Rose.

Justin said: “You want to hear a cool Johnny Depp story? I opened up my door at the hotel, I heard knock knock knock and he’s like, ‘Hey I just wanted to give you this.’ He opened a box and I opened it up and it’s one of his cool hats.

“I think he was doing a press conference in the lobby and someone told him I was up in my room. And then he came to my show in Miami with his daughter, super nice guy.”

And the 21-year-old star will keep the surprise gift forever.

Speaking on radio program The Bert Show, he added: “I got it framed.”

Meanwhile, Justin has vowed to quit smoking because he doesn’t want to be a bad role model.

He said: “I want to quit smoking. I am going to do it. I don’t want to be someone who is smoking and people say I’m a bad influence. But again it’s my journey, let me be and I’ll figure it out.”
