Katie Holmes open to Dawson’s Creek reunion

Katie Holmes admits there has been a ”lot of talk” about a Dawson’s Creek reunion. The brunette beauty – who next stars in Woman in Gold, played Joey Potter in six series of the teen drama. She admits she would be interested in reuniting with former co-stars James Van Der Beek (Dawson Leery), Joshua Jackson (Pacey Witter) and Michelle Williams (Jen Lindley) but is unsure how it would happen.

She said: ”There’s been a lot of talk about it. And I don’t know because when we did our finale, it was set five years later, so we kind of did that. And Michelle [Williams’] character passed away in the last episode, so…Yeah, you never know.”

And the 36-year-old actress thinks the reunion could happen on a talk show, following Jimmy Kimmel’s mini Friends reunion in September 2014 – which saw the sit-com’s female stars, Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow, get together – and Jimmy Fallon’s recent Saved by the Bell segment.

She quipped to Us Weekly: ”Get Jimmy Fallon on the phone, pronto!”

Katie – who has eight-year-old daughter Suri with ex-husband Tom Cruise – recently admitted she is still in contact with her former castmates because they enjoyed working on the show so much.

She said: ”You know, we all still keep in touch and support each other. And luckily, we all have been able to stay busy. We had a really wonderful time. It was six years of our lives, and we were all really passionate about making it the best it could be. We really believed in ourselves.”
