Paul Gross, who currently produces and stars in the Canadian TV series Men with Brooms, has just been announced to co-star opposite Sex and the City‘s Kim Cattrall in the Broadway-bound production of Noel Coward’s Private Lives. The play will run from September 17 to October 30, 2011 at the Royal Alexandra Theatre. Theatre owner David Mirvish said: “When I attended the recent London production of Private Lives… starring the magnetic and irresistible Kim Cattrall – I knew we had to find a way to bring this production to Toronto. Although she was born in the U.K., we have always considered Kim one of Canada’s own. She spent her formative years in this country and got her start in theatre right here in Toronto, so I thought it would be a great homecoming, of sorts, to have her repeat her acclaimed performance for us here… I’m excited that we will get to see Kim Cattrall back on a Toronto stage, especially now that she has found an equally stellar Canadian co-star for the production.”

A review of the Canadian film Hyena Road, now on DVD and Blu-ray. Directed by and starring Paul Gross, the movie also stars leading man Rossif Sutherland, who plays a sniper as he and his team of soldiers in the Canadian Armed Forces try to get a road built.
Love Paul Gross! Is anyone planning on going to this?
Paul Gross is probably my favourite Canadian actor, and for good reasons. He was great in Passchendaele and Gunless.
I love Paul Gross too! I loved him in Due South and pretty much everything he’s done since then. I’m not sure I’ll be able to get to Toronto to see this, but I saw him at Stratford a few years ago and he was great.
Come hell or high water, I’ll make this performance. lol He’s great in everything he does. This won’t be the exception. love Paul Gross!
