Kristen Stewart lands minor movie role

Twilight actress Kristen Stewart has joined the cast of the indie movie Anesthesia. Kristen is slated to play only a small role and is filming in New York City for a few days. The movie will be directed by Tim Blake Nelson. According to Deadline, the movie follows “a group of New Yorkers whose lives are touched by the same philosophy professor.” Kristen isn’t a newcomer to indie filmmaking. She starred in The Runaways alongside Dakota Fanning and this past summer filmed Sils Maria with Chloë Grace Moretz and Juliette Minoche, as well as the political drama Camp X-Ray. This will be director Tim Blake Nelson’s first directorial effort since his 2009 movie Leaves of Grass, which he also scripted and starred in. ~Brie Davis
