Kristen Stewart offered Snow White

Twilight star Kristen Stewart, 20, is in negotiations to play Snow White in Universal’s upcoming film adaptation of the classic fairy tale, titled Snow White and the Huntsman. The fair-skinned actress is the frontrunner for the role, beating out other young actresses such as Felicity Jones, Emily Browning, Alicia Vikander and Elvis Presley’s granddaughter Riley Keough. According to Entertainment Weekly, Viggo Mortensen and Charlize Theron are in “final talks” to play the Huntsman and the evil queen. Rupert Sanders will make his feature film directorial debut on the pic, in which, instead of the seven dwarfts, a Huntsman takes Snow White under his wing, teaching her how to fight and defend herself when she is banished by the evil queen.

Oh please don’t ruin Snow White for me the way Twilight was ruined. =(

I agree!! Leave Snow White alone…do not ruin a Disney Classic!!!!

I disagree. It sounds like a different spin and kristen Stewart would be perfect casting. The concept of the film sounds fun.

I agree with Linda. The story sounds like it’s been changed to be really modern, so I can totally see Kristen as a girl who learns to defend herself. And she definitely looks the part.

No! No! No!. Disney made it perfect. We all think Snow White should be almost perfect with the hair and the voice. Kristen will need to totally change her constant shy mannerisms and clear up those dark circles around the eyes. I do not think this is a good fit. Put someone new and fresh faced in the roll. The movie can seel using Viggo and Charlize. You don’t need Kristen. The concept of the idea sounds interesting even though I’m sure there are a bunch of little people actors that likely saw an opportunity for a job and now that’s denied. Stupid new vision for a classic tale lol.

Yeah, she’s a little different but it’ll work. I love the spinds on old fairy tales, that red riding hood looks pretty cool too

    oops, i mean spins

personally, I think she would make a good snow white. She’s fairly pale normally(as snow white is supposed to be). as far as Disney making it perfect, that was what, almost 75 years ago? is no one EVER supposed to make another version of it? seems kind of silly to me (and just for the record, I’m a HUGE disney fan)

and, if it sucks? oh well, there’s lots of other movies to watch

Will they rename the film ‘Wh*reWhite’? Will they replace the dwarfs with seven sexually confused werewolves? Will the prince be replaced with a pasty-faced vampire?

Sheesh, can we please make a conservative effort to stop ruining classics? And if you must find someone to play snow white than why not ask Leighton Meester, Natalie Portman, or Taylor Swift play the role.
