Lady Gaga usually prides herself for inspiring her fans to act and look however they want and to be whoever they want to be. So, fans and critics alike were no less than surprised when the pop star posted a controversial tweet earlier this week, sending everyone into a frenzy. She said, "Just killed back to back spin classes. Eating a salad dreaming of a cheeseburger #PopSingersDontEat #IWasBornThisWay." Lady Gaga has admitted to an eating disorder earlier in her career, but usually sends empowering messages to her youthful fans. The National Eating Disorders Campaign confusingly tweeted, "Huh? This is the same person who recently implored girls to stop dieting?" Even her fans were angered by her tweet, one follower posted, "unfollow @ladygaga 4 her ignorant and stupid message to her fans #popsingersdonteat wow ur a role model act like 1 don't praise anorexia wtf? (sic)" Another Twitter user said, "@ladygaga pick a side… Do you want to promote beautiful and healthy kids, or anorexia?" ~Renita Naraine

Any heat she gets from the media is well-deserved.
So she's eating a salad, eating healthy, eating SOMETHING - and yet people are pissed off... go figure.
Well, if she hadnt put the whole #PopStarsDontEat thing in there, we wouldnt here about this now would we?
Life is a diet, get over it! If you want to stay healthy, you need to watch your calorie intake, period. I do it every single day of my life, and... I also exercise. Gasp! I think what this rock person is saying is to be and express who you are... She doesn't mean be fat and unhealthy or the complete opposite. Duh...
