Django Unchained star Leonardo DiCaprio, 38, has told Germany’s Bild Magazine that he is taking time off from filming movies to focus on his environmental campaigning. “I’m a bit drained. I’m now going to take a long, long break. I’ve done three films in two years and I’m just worn out,” said the actor. “I would like to improve the world a bit. I will fly around the world doing good for the environment." Leo, a dedicated environmentalist, also told the magazine: “My roof is covered with solar panels. My car is electric. A normal person does not drive more than 50 kilometers a day. That can be done with a plug.” Depending on the length of the break, audiences may not realize Leo is gone, with his new films The Great Gatsby and The Wolf of Wall Street scheduled for release in 2013. ~BJ Lasala

He's going to "fly around the world doing good for the environment"? First thing he could try is stop flying. That would do wonders for the environment.
"Normal people?" Come back to the REAL world Leo. Lots of people have to drive 1-2 hrs to work because they can't afford a decent house in the cit, let alone solar panels for the $50,000 electric cars that no one can afford. Must be nice to live in your "normal" world.
@ The Little People, he didn't mean normal in a condescending way. He meant the average amount that someone would drive.
It must be nice that he can just take a break and travel the world....hope he has fun...
you all act as if it is a crime that he is an actor...you all enjoy his movies so quiet down...no matter how rich you are, you are human and can get drained...stop hating on the guy and eat a taco.

It's like teaching a person to fish..if it's just him flying around the world, that's ok as long as he reaches a few people to change their environmental lifestyles then it makes it worth it. Good for him.
