Although prior reports and sightings of Rupert Sanders sporting his wedding ring had people thinking the director was successful in saving his marriage - new sightings seem to suggest otherwise. According to TMZ, Liberty Ross was spotted out in Los Angeles on Monday without her wedding ring. The high-profile scandal began when news broke about Kristen Stewart cheating on her co-star and boyfriend Robert Pattinson, with her Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders (married to model Liberty Ross, with whom he has two kids). Although Pattinson promptly left Stewart and went to temporarily hide out at a home owned by Reese Witherspoon, it was unclear whether Sanders and his wife were trying to work things out. The sightings of a bare-fingered Liberty Ross point to the marriage being over - so we may be seeing divorce papers being filed any day now. ~Stacy Raivich

I thought sanders and kristen just kissed? why divorce over such a stupid mistake?
I don't think anyone should ever take back a cheater. Out of respect for herself and her children she should leave him. This wasn't a "mistake", they were not drunk teenagers at a party. They conciously met at a private location in order to hook up.. This was not a "one time accident". If you love someone you would never cheat on them
I completely agree with you Samantha. Seriously, they should have known better. And to be kissing in public when you know the paparazzi will be all over you in minutes? Foolish mistake. But it's probably for the best that Liberty found out sooner rather than later
I really hope they do get a divorce. Cheating with a star of your first movie?! Come on. So unprofessional and disgusting. If he's done it once, he'll be sure to do it again. Liberty shouldn't let him get away with this!!
It's up to her standards really. If the kiss means she can no longer trust him then she should send him packing. Otherwise, it's better to start working things out and hopefully get their issues out of the media.
I hate how the media always blasts people's personal issues. I get that it's scandalous news for the public to learn that Kristen Stewart cheated on RPattz with her director... but I dont think the media should be getting any more into it like this. Let them all work out their own issues without making it harder for them. Gosh, they're people too.

Can't believe he would even think about cheating on Liberty. I don't know her, never seen her before, but just based on looks, wow! Compared to Kristen.
With this much drama, Rob moving out, Liberty with no ring......I seriously doubt it was "just a kiss".
It wasn't just a kiss. They had an affair that started during filming, and continued up to the time they were caught kissing.
Good for you Liberty - you can't trust a cheater. Period.
