Lindsay LohanLindsay Lohan has been hired to star alongside Woody Harrelson, Giovanni Ribisi and Alanis Morisette in an upcoming comedy called The Other Side. She’ll play a grad student who spends her summer doing scientific work on a remote island, where she discovers an underground community hiding a secret about a long ago tragedy. Filming is set to begin in October on an island off the coast of Massachusetts. Director David Michaels was quoted as saying in Variety: “Lindsay’s very aware of people’s perceptions of her. She’s really committed to doing what she has to in order to change that.”

Sounds about as funny as the DHARMA initiative, that’s for sure.

You’re right, it’s got Lost, written all over it! Although, I do love Lost, so perhaps it’ll be alright?

Nice for her to have a job though!

Good! Now maybe she can hire someone to clean that pig-sty she calls “home”. 😛

speaking of LOST, since theres no other place to put comments on polls, does anyone else think that the person who made that poll dint quite understand the season finale? coz I didnt feel like locke being dead or alive was a question posed in that episode. they were pretty straight forward on that with the whole “loophole” explanation.

I didn’t think it was clear. It was the main question I had after watching the show. And it looks like more people voted for that than any of the other questions, so why would you think that most people assumed he was dead?

To me it seemed like *SPOILER* they revealed that Locke had been dead this entire season and that the black shirt guy that Jacob talked to in the beginning was pretending to be Locke so that he could convince Ben to kill him.
also, throughout the season they kept saying that dead is dead, and that bringing someone back from the dead was highly unusual.

There has to be better talent out there than Lohan. Hollywood needs a new girl on the scene. Lindsey, Paris, Brittany, they are all overdone and yesterday’s news. They need someone new and fresh.
Hopefully she’ll take this serious. Doesn’t she have a knack for showing up on the set late, if at all? Let’s hope this girl has saw the error of her ways and changed.

Totally agree with Carol that there must be better talent than Lindsay Lohan out there (ie. “talent” period). Don’t think Paris even rates being in a lineup with Lohan and Brittany, tho, since she’s only famous for being a rich tramp.

I completely agree with Carol and lily, almost anyone would be better than Lindsay right now, Paris definitely being one of the exceptions!

I’m not a Paris fan but I have to say that yes, she was born into wealth but I believe she has and still does actually “do” more than Lindsay and Britney put together. She has her own perfume line, clothing company, she’s a model, etc. She shows up for work and she may wear short skirts but she hasn’t been caught or photographed without panties…that I know of anyways, LOL. Another thing I can say about Paris…she absolutely LOVES being photographed and is NEVER a b!tch to the paparazzi…she always poses for them.

Well, Nancy, I never really thought about it like that, but you are right. Paris is just…Paris.

Of course…I’m ALWAYS right, remember? LMFAO!!!
