Maddox Jolie-Pitt refuses to see dad Brad Pitt

It just keeps getting worse for the Jolie-Pitt clan.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt‘s son, Maddox Jolie-Pitt, 15, refused to attend the Oct. 8 reunion with his dad.
Angelina, 41, filed for divorce on Sept. 19 from Brad, 52, and according to media reports, a violent incident between Brad and Maddox on a private plane was the trigger for the divorce.
The Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services recommended that Angelina and her six children – Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox – temporarily stay at a rented house in Los Angeles. The kids went through counseling to prepare them for their visit with their dad.
According to Us Weekly, an insider revealed, “He [Brad] wanted to make sure the meeting would be the most productive for the kids.” However, a source close to Angelina revealed Maddox didn’t attend, saying, “He chose not to go and stayed with Angie.”
An eyewitness to the plane incident reported that Brad was intoxicated and “getting physical” with the kids, which had led to the F.B.I. getting involved. They interviewed Angelina and the children this week on Tuesday (Oct. 18) to get more information, including where the plane was when the altercation occurred.
Maddox was adopted by Angelina in 2002, two years before she started dating Brad in 2004. The Ocean’s Eleven actor legally adopted Maddox in 2006. While one source tells Us Weekly that Maddox “doesn’t really see himself as Brad’s son,” another says that “Maddox never wants to see Brad again.”
Brad and Angelina are currently battling over custody of the kids. According to the temporary agreement in place until October 20, the couple share legal custody, while Angelina has sole physical custody.
Here’s hoping all goes well for the Jolie-Pitts.

Opening in theaters this weekend is the action-thriller Bullet Train starring Brad Pitt, Jo Koy’s comedic Easter Sunday, and I Love My Dad with Patton Oswalt.
It’s shocking that their divorce battle and anything relating to it continues to make headlines. I’m ready to beat my head against the wall from hearing their names so often. People need to get over them and their irrelevant drama.
It’s good that they’re not forcing him into anything
what a mess -for the kids. I think Brad and Angelina are getting what they deserve. You reap what you sow – and although they TRY to pretend that they didn’t start off having an affair – that’s not the truth. There is a saying that goes something like this: The pleasures of sin only last for a season – and then it’s pay back time”. It’s too bad they dragged all of those kids into their sorted lives. The pain and hurt that they caused others with their affair – is coming back to haunt them. All the money and fame in the world doesn’t hide your secrets from God.

I know we will never know the truth but I have always felt that she lured him into an affair and now she can’t have everything her way, she tries to paint him bad , to get rid.
We don’t know what Brad was yelling at him about on the plane or what he did. I’ll wait to pass judgement until I know what exactly was going on.

Brad was raised in a time when you respected your elders. His parents are still together.

Blown out of proportion….
The kid is clearly in love with his mother, and she has had some weird relations with her own family in the past. I think there is something very unwholesome going on between her and her son.
Kids need to respect their parents, both their parents since they probably don’t know the whole story. I do believe this has been blown way out of proportion as well
There’s a lot of crazy people (Bible thumper, Karma thumpers) making comments on the jolie-pitts. People get too wrapped up in celebrity drama. I primarily avoid Hollywood gossip these days but yes I did read this gossip today. Everyone should stop judging them. the world is not black and white. good people do cheat and have affairs. it’s human. No one truly knows what is going on with jolie-pitt and it shouldn’t impact your life. Get a life.
Angie is full of crap as an ex drug addict she has no high ground and as for that kid of hers would say whatever she wants him to he just a brat
Regarding Andy’s very silly comments: Maddox is just a teenager. You don’t know the kid. It’s bad enough he’s dealing w his family issues but to have entire world focused on it and then you – Andy – making your ridiculous comments on his mother’s addiction problem and then summing up Maddox as simply a brat. You’re ignorant ! I’d guess as messed up as Maddox is now, he’s probably more enlightened than you are. Andy grow up!
To Koth – it’s obvious that you justifying the affair between the two of them – only goes to tell me that too are a cheater. And for someone who “avoids Hollywood gossip” you sure seem to be chiming in a lot. So not only are you a cheater – but also a hypocrite. Good to know. lol
I knew one of the nutbars would reply. Sure I’m guilty of gossip reading but not cheating. Very typical of Bible thumper to blanket her accusations to anyone not as holy as her. I’m also not justifying what Brad or Angie did but just because it happened doesn’t mean Brad’s marriage wasn’t already on the rocks and ready to end at time it did. He needs to be judged by his family/friends not by holier than thou Bible thumpers. My main message was only you shouldn’t judge anybody. Especially strangers. But I’m sure you do that all the time Lorena and your excuse is your religious beliefs which have only made less accepting of people different from you. However, gods teachings regardless of religion should only enable you to accept people regardless of their differences from you.
Koth – don’t speak about anything you don’t know – you can justify anything you do in this world – and everyone is just supposed to accept it – or they are called judgemental. I do believe in the Bible and the values taught in it. You can call me anything you want – it doesn’t bother me. Just because something is accepted by the world’s people – doesn’t mean it’s right. They use the “f” word on prime time TV….doesn’t mean it’s okay. I’ll believe that affairs are wrong until my dying day. If you want to live a life like a lemming – you are able to do that – because you have free will. I try to live my life speaking the truth – even if it’s not accepted. nobody knows what happened in the plane except for those involved. we do
not know any of these individuals and so cannot have any valid opinions. Angelina and brad are not our friends whom we have a right to comment on, especially
not those negative comments. this matter is nobody’s business. they are strangers with a right to privacy and should not be slandered or judged. it is delusional to think otherwise.
The kid has too much power to cause a divorce. That’s not good for the kid or the rest of the family. Cocky, spoiled teenagers with too much power are in real trouble. Brad’s not off the hook, but sometimes people drink too much & get violent when something builds over time & feeling powerless to save them. These people live in a fishbowl & Angelina has always lived in the fishbowl, but Brad hasn’t. Also, once you become that popular you can’t get out especially in Brad’s case that he’s married to it & his kids are all in it.
ALL teenagers at that age think they’re the top dog. In this day and age no matter how you raise them – they get lippy. Alcohol doesn’t help the problem. And (this is the big one) – can you imagine having EVERYTHING that happened during your daily life reported on world news? I’m sure not everyone is perfect – especially the bible thumpers. As for a teenager not having the power to break up a marriage, anyone that has kids know that kids come first and if there is a shed of abuse – the right thing to do is get away.We have no idea what happened and no one (especially on this board) should judge. Lastly about the FBI being overblown – they were on a plane – they’re involved. I would assume since they are trying to find out where the plane was when it happened – there are different laws depending. It’s a shame they’re breaking up , together they have helped so many people . People are Human – Humans make mistakes. No matter how the marriage started, it’s none of YOUR business.
