While there’s been confirmation that Magic Mike 2 is in the making, a Broadway musical also seems to be on its way. According to Ticket News, a musical adaptation of the film Magic Mike will hit stages summer 2013. The film’s star, Channing Tatum, and director Steven Soderbergh will help produce the play, along with Reid Carolin, Gregory Jacobs, and Nick Wechsler. Carolin, who wrote the Magic Mike screenplay, is scheduled to write the book for the Broadway musical. In Entertainment Weekly, Channing confessed that Matt Bomer, his Magic Mike co-star, spawned the idea behind the stage adaptation, revealing, “Matt Bomer started singing some of the songs while he was onstage, and he was like, ‘This would kill as a musical.’ That cemented it for me.” While the film features pop songs such as “It's Raining Men” and “Like a Virgin,” there’s no confirmation yet if these songs will be in the musical. It is also still unknown if the original cast, which includes Tatum, Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Matthew McConaughey, and Alex Pettyfer, will star in the musical or if there will be an entirely new cast. Commenting on this, Channing told ContactMusic.com, “I'd need a lot of singing lessons.” ~Isabelle Khoo

So I don't know about anyone else, but this idea sounds AMAZING!! Fingers crossed they use the same cast from the movie
I doubt the storyline is any good, but I guess I understand why it's so popular with women... this'll definitely be a money maker. Hollywood seems to milk everything it possibly can
