Mark Wahlberg stopped by Toronto recently to promote his new film Broken City and while there, he confirmed with Postmedia that he and Justin Bieber will star in a film together. Shooting is expected to begin February 2014. Wahlberg said, “The script’s good and now we’re trying to figure out his whole schedule.” The film will star Wahlberg as a “reluctant mentor” with Bieber as the “young basketball street hustler.” The script was written by Ian Edelman, the creator of How To Make It in America, and Wahlberg with Stephen Levinson will produce the film alongside Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun. “Originally we had a great idea but we didn’t know what the script would be like, but then Ian just turned in this great f**g script,” Wahlberg enthused. ~Luxy Hariharan
