Melanie Griffith files for divorce from Antonio Banderas

Melanie Griffith, 56, has filed for divorce from her husband of 18 years, Antonio Banderas, 53. Melanie is citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce. She is asking for spousal support in addition to child support and sole physical custody and joint legal custody of their daughter Stella, 17. This will be Melanie’s fourth divorce and Antonio’s second. Melanie has a son, Alexander Bauer from her second marriage, and a daughter Dakota with third husband Don Johnson (he was also her first husband – they divorced in 1976 and remarried in 1989). The reason for the divorce is unclear, but earlier Antonio, who next stars in The Expendables 3, said he had forbidden Melanie from having any more cosmetic surgery “for the sake of our marriage.”

Dang… I don’t think Antonio thought he would ever get out of this one. Look at Melanie’s face. I think it want’s a divorce too.

i like both of them as actors. I wish them the best. Antonio just wanted out of the marriage. That is why he cheated on her with a woman.
