TMZ has obtained a video of Miley Cyrus performing a graphic lap dance at age 16 at the wrap party for her movie, The Last Song. The people who shot the video say they were offended by Miley’s dirty dancing, which included gyrating on 44-year-old movie producer Adam Shankman’s lap. Apparently Miley’s parents, Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus, were not in attendance.

I think it’s pretty bad that the voting buttons don’t include the option to vote that the 44-year-old director should be ashamed of himself. So what if he’s gay? Whether there was sexual intent or not, as an adult, and a person of authority, he should have discouraged the entire thing.
Although she’s been allowed to grow up too fast, and may sometimes seem older than her years, imagine what you were like at 16, and if you had the attention she gets. The adults in her life — including the director — should start trying to guide her better.
i don’t think it’s right to judge her. i’m sure she didn’t just go up to the guy and say, “hey want a lap dance?” mebbe it was a birthday gift to him or something, all done in good fun. maybe he bribed her with big movie contracts.. fact of the matter is, we all need to ask ourselves, are we certain we wouldn’t do that if we were miley cyrus??

Wow, I hope it was all in fun. I do think Miley is growing up faster than the average 16 year old and consistantly being around adults doesn’t help matters any. I’m sure there was nothing sexual about it, so if that’s the case then perhaps just a lecture from her parents is what is required. I don’t think we have the right to judge here.

Jen on May 13, 2010 12:47 PM i dont think that its the attention she gets that causes her to act like a teenager. teenagers that arent in the spotlight are often WORSE than this, they are out sleeping with everyone they can, doing drugs, drinking all the time, skipping school etc. i dont mean ALL teens, but a lot of them. im sure that some of the people that are on here commenting about this and her age have no idea what their own children do/did at that age. people need to stop looking at these teen stars and deciding they dont have the right to do dumb things and to grow up in their own way on their own time. she isnt hurting anyone, she isnt hurting herself so who cares what she does?

We’ve all fallen short of the glory of God but that doesn’t give us the right to judge. We don’t know the whole story, only what the media wants us to believe. What were the so called adults there doing, encouraging her? It’s up to her parents to make sure the wrap party is in good taste after all, she is still a minor and unable to make that call. Teenagers don’t develop common sense until they reach their twenties. I believe she’s a good kid but let’s face it, what 16 year old wouldn’t behave that way when presented with that opportunity. I see it as disgusting now but I would have probably done the same thing when I was 16. Perhaps having her chaperoned may be the answer.

I always find it terrible that celebrities cannot live their own lives. It’s really none of our business what they do in their personal lives. sad… that someone obviously secretly taped this at a private party and then probably made themselves money selling it, like other media vultures. Does it matter how old the guy is, or is the issue of Miley dancing suggestively with any guy at that age a question or morality. If I were a parent, I’d be way more concerned about the possibility of drugs, than just dancing in a manner that we see from almost every top pop female artist (talk about role models) This did not happen in public, at a children’s party, so she wasn’t intentionally going against her image of a children’s role model.
