Could a sequel to the 2010 action movie Kick-Ass be in the works? Possibly. In a profile published in the Sunday edition of The Daily Record, Mark Millar, writer of the comic book that inspired the film, was quoted as saying, “We shoot Kick-Ass 2 and American Jesus this summer.” After hopeful fans of the series asked Millar himself at the Millarworld message board if the news about the sequel was true, his answer was simply, “I can’t possibly comment,” followed by a happy face icon. The original film, starring Aaron Johnson, Nicolas Cage and Chloë Grace Moretz, cost $28 million to make and grossed nearly $100 million worldwide. ~Rodrigo Cokting

I agree Kick Ass was far from terrible, I really enjoyed it…one of those movies you can always pop in when there is nothing else to watch…”F$%K You Mr. Bitey!” – KickAss

It wasn’t a great movie, but it was far from being terrible. I can see a sequel doing well at the box-office… assuming they keep the budget on par with the first.

kick ass was aptly titled, as it kicked all kinds of ass as a film. humour, action, snappy dialogue, cool set design,it had it all in spades. loved that film and am so stoked for a sequel
