Paris, Blanket and Prince JacksonA photographer crashed into an Escalade security car in the Jackson family motorcade on Wednesday. The car was one in a convoy of cars carrying Michael Jackson‘s children — Paris, Prince, and Blanket — but they were not inside the car that was hit. The children were being taken to a karate class with their nanny and security guards in a car when the photographer glimpsed them and decided to follow. Unfortunately, he then collided with the security car. The car with the children inside immediately left the scene to avoid the paparazzi, but Joe Jackson later spoke with the press to let them know all three children were fine. ~Alexandra Heilbron

Sensationalism… the kids weren’t involved in the crash in any way. Thank goodness for that, they have been through enough.

This is B.S. journalistic reporting. Why would you write such a misleading headline? Just to get off on sensationalizing the story which really has little relevance to the actual title?

    Idiotic reporting…

I find Tribute does this all the time.
It’s some of the worst stuff I’ve ever seen.

    Tribute Sucks.

I agree! What a crap headline. Promote craziness a bit more why don’t you!!! Poorly done.

  5. David on October 23, 2009 9:50 AM

Yes this is sensationalism. The real story is Why do papparazzi get away with chasing people in their cars. Did we not learn anything from the tragic death of Diana?

  6. Jo-Anne on October 23, 2009 10:10 AM

good ol’ Joe…always pops up when needed to speak the truth and clear things up….

  8. Lisa on October 23, 2009 10:23 AM

The kids would have been taken away before anybody realized they were even there, they would have been long gone.

  9. Dianne on October 23, 2009 10:33 AM

Let these children be, like that will ever happen. Misleading reporting like this is a turnoff. The Papparazzi should be legally banned.

I don’t know why I keep falling for tributes ridiculous fake headlines. Last week it was “Russell Crowe hit by fire truck” when in reality the parked van he was in was lightly clipped as the truck pulled out of the fire station.

“Fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can’t get fooled again.” :)

hhhmmmm, maybe I should stop receiving Tribute’s newsletters and stop reading anything from tribute if they are going to be so ignorant as to get our hearts pounding over a misleading headline! Stop playing us as fools!
We made you! If you entertainment news people, including anyone in the celebrity world, did not have “THE FANS” you would starve!

  12. Ernie on October 23, 2009 11:52 AM

Too bad…I was hoping the children had an excuse to get surgery to look like daddy!

  13. Carmie56 on October 23, 2009 12:05 PM

    Ernie that was uncalled for!!!

  14. Mike on October 23, 2009 1:15 PM

    Tell lies
    Rediculous
    Isulting
    Bad reporting
    Uncalled for
    Terrible
    Enough is enough

The headlines are all in how you read them. It says “involved”….they were. It just doesn’t say WHAT their involvement was…and that is what the article is for.

One thing is for sure, Tribute readers are passionate.

  17. deborah on October 23, 2009 2:03 PM

I truly agree with David. That WAS such a tragic :( . Let’s just be glad though, the children were not the ones that got hit. Bless them.AND LET’S NOT LEAVE ERNIE OUT OF THIS. HOW THE DAMN COULD YOU BE SO INSENSITIVE. GET A LIFE!!! MJ WAS A GREAT PERFORMER AND A HELL OF A BETTER PERSON THAN YOU!!! I also agree with magicsinheaven (good name by the way) !!! by the way, my daughter and i are going to see Michael Jackson’s THIS IS IT on Oct 28 and we can’t wait.

  18. Teeka on October 23, 2009 3:42 PM

Great, not only do we lose Michael, but to have the paparrazi follow these kids when they are trying to have a life is stupid and unresponsible. Its bad enough that we lost Princess Diana through a car crash that the paparrazi had been involved, now this?? These are just kids and just leave the kids alone.

  19. Jean on October 23, 2009 4:56 PM

Great now the damm photoghotographer’s can’t even let the kids go on with some kind of a normal life. Leave the children and their families alone you jerks. Bad enough there father was murdered.

  20. tributegirl on October 23, 2009 5:16 PM

The thing I find the biggest shame here is the fact that these children even NEED a motorcade just to go to their karate lessons. This accident is proof that the paps will not leave these children alone and that yes, they do need all this protection.
Tribute doesn’t suck (usually), the paparazzi sucks.

  21. brend on October 23, 2009 5:32 PM

ernie you need mental help, i cant even beleive you said something like that, uncool.

  22. mandee on October 23, 2009 6:56 PM

funny how JOE says the kids are ok. wasnt he supposed to stay away from them?

  23. tributegirl on October 23, 2009 8:43 PM

Yeah, mandee, I was wondering about that too. Wonder what the scoop is there?

  24. Carol on October 23, 2009 9:11 PM

There is no story here, just someone trying to make a mountain out of a molehill.

  25. gypsy on October 23, 2009 10:40 PM

    Carol..9.11pm I totally agree!!

  26. Minerva on October 24, 2009 12:56 AM

Did somebody say something about these kids leading a normal life? How can anybody lead a normal life with a name like BLANKET of all things, and as somebody else mentioned……when you have to attend karate lessons in a motorcade. Gads!

  27. Shauna on October 24, 2009 2:04 PM

most celebritys would get the karate teacher to go to their home

  28. Jo-Anne on October 25, 2009 3:15 PM

    so true, brend…agree wholeheartedly

  29. Nancy on October 25, 2009 7:28 PM

Are you sure you want to agree with someone who misspells words? Someone human like the rest of us? I mean, the rest of us are not worthy because of our spelling and grammar which you constantly pick on.

  30. Jo-Anne on October 25, 2009 9:26 PM
