MTV Movie Awards 2014: Complete list of winners

Some of the biggest celebrities from movies, music and television graced the red carpet as the 23rd annual MTV Movie Awards 2014 took place on Sunday night. Hunger Games: Catching Fire nabbed the nights biggest awards, including best film.  Jennifer Lawrence won best female performance and Josh Hutcherson was named the best male performer. It was not just the winners that got everyone jumping in their seats. Many summer movie teasers were unveiled, including The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Jamie Foxx took the stage to introduce a brief clip of Spider-Man battling Electro in New York’s Times Square. X-Men fans were treated to an exciting clip of  X-Men: Days of Future Past. Fans and co-stars also remembered Fast & Furious star Paul Walker. There was a special tribute to Paul who died in a car crash last November. Before revealing a few clips from the actor’s films, Jordana Brewster, who introduced the segment, added:  “I witnessed the generosity of his heart every day I was with him. He wanted to make a difference in this world. His charm, wit, spirit and his beautiful smile will live on.” It was a night to remember. ~Marriska Fernandes
