The Theory Of EverythingIt’s Tuesday and you know what that means. New DVD releases hit the shelves today.

Based on Jane Hawking‘s memoir Travelling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen, movie lovers can pick up a copy of the romantic drama The Theory of Everything starring Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones. In this biopic, Stephen Hawking (Redmayne) meets Jane Wilde (Jones) while studying at Cambridge University. Despite his health problems and the development of a motor neuron disease, Stephen and Jane get married and eventually have three children. But can their love withstand the overwhelming responsibilities that lay ahead?

If you’re over the romance of Valentine’s Day and just want to kick back with a comedy, the controversial film The Interview, which prompted the infamous Sony hack, is now available. Dave Skylark (James Franco) and his producer Aaron Rapoport (Seth Rogen) host Skylark Tonight — a popular tabloid TV show. To make their mark as journalists, Dave and Aaron secure an interview with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un after learning he’s a fan of their show. However, their plans soon change as their trips goes from fan interview to assassination mission.

Fans of the classic comedy Dumb and Dumber can now add the sequel Dumb and Dumber To to their collection. Lloyd (Jim Carrey) and Harry (Jeff Daniels) team up once again 20 years after the original film for more hijinks and shenanigans. When Harry discovers he has a daughter he’s never met – whom Lloyd falls in love with after seeing her picture – the two embark on a road trip to find her.

Also on DVD today is the fourth season of the fantasy series Game of Thrones; the Oscar-nominated movies Birdman and St. Vincent; the drama The Homesman; the horror flicks V/H/S: Viral and The Scarehouse; the thriller Dying of the Light and the documentary Life Itself

Let us know which movie you’ll be adding to your collection! ~Sandra D. Sukraj
