oscar_statuetteDust off the red carpet — the nominations for the 89th Academy Awards have been announced!

The stage is now set for the biggest night in Hollywood as La La Land leads the charge with a whopping 14 nominations. That total ties the record set by Titanic and All About Eve.

Other films honored with multiple noms include the much-talked about Moonlight, the sci-fi hit Arrival and the drama Manchester by the Sea.

The announcement was made early this morning (Jan. 24) by past winners Brie Larson, Jennifer Hudson, writer Dustin Lance Black, and past nominated actor Ken Watanabe.

The golden statuettes will be handed out Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Jimmy Kimmel will host. Click here to see our Oscars microsite with full list of nominees, the history of the Oscars, scoresheet and more!
