Talk about a dark ending. In this breakout hit for director David Fincher, the final moments of the film become increasingly shocking as we realize the full depths of the serial killer's plan. With the killer in custody and only two murders left to be committed based around the seven deadly sins - envy and anger - our two protagonists (and us along with them) struggle to figure out where these final two bodies are going to come from. And just when we start to realize that two of these three characters might not make it out alive, a package is delivered: the head of Brad Pitt's (pregnant!) wife, who the killer murdered out of envy. When Pitt shoots the killer in rage, his plan is complete, and we're left with nothing but a horrible feeling in the pit of our stomachs.
