Friday Night Lights

The financial bust has left the town of Odessa, Texas struggling to stay afloat but the one thing the town hasn't lost is their faith in the high school football team, The Permian High Panthers. Every Friday night, people gather on the field to watch their boys play. Struggling to keep the team intact under the growing strain of economic downsizing, one coach puts everything on the line to take them to the top.

Not including “any given Sunday” is bad enough, but to put “gridiron gang” and “The Longest Yard” in front of “Remember the Titans” is downright criminal. Anyone remember a movie called “The Program”? it was deserving a lot more than some others to be on that list.
