We all know life is fleeting — one minute you’re here, and the next you’re gone. It’s important to appreciate every moment that life affords you, as it could be your last. This sentiment is none truer than in the movie realm, where a character’s life story can range anywhere from two hours to five minutes, all according to the whims of the storyteller. Sometimes we, the audience, see their end coming. But in the case of these 12 movies, sometimes we really, really don’t.
