quentin_tarantinoQuentin Tarantino wants his next film to be a romantic comedy. The director is known for making quirky movies filled with bloodthirsty, violent fight scenes such as Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction and most recently Inglourious Basterds. However, he’s now eager to show his softer side and is planning to shoot a film about love. Quentin is confident he can bring a refreshing perspective to the genre. “I’d love to make a romantic comedy and take it out of the ghetto it’s been exiled to,” he said. Quentin insists he has looked at love in his previous movies, but people often overlook this and focus on the gory scenes. “I have done love stories, they’ve just been in my other movies. True Romance’s title was not ironic,” he told Film.com. “Sure, James Gandolfini almost beats Patricia Arquette to death and she has to blow him away with a shotgun but that doesn’t mean it’s not romantic. It just has to be done my way and I think people want me to do it my way.”

I thought “Natural Born Killers” was his Rom-Com, I guess Oliver Stone didn’t get it????

As a writer he writes love well, True Romance, The relationship with Vincent and Mia in Pulp Fiction was great. Natural Born Killers was a love story, I even found the relationship with “bride” and Bill in Kill Bill very good also. Yeah all those movies were surounded by drugs or violence, So if he’s really going to make a film without that will be interesting.
