Redmond O’Neal arrested for drug possession

Redmond O’Neal, the 26-year-old son of Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O’Neal, has once again been arrested for drug possession. When his mother died last year, he was in prison on a similar charge, and when released, he vowed to stay clean and sober. During brief appearances on his father’s reality series, Ryan & Tatum: The O’Neals, Redmond seemed clean and confident, quietly helping his father around the house and with his relationship with his estranged daughter (Redmond’s half-sister) Tatum. Redmond was stopped last Thursday while driving in Santa Monica and his car was searched. “After Mr. O’Neal admitted to being on felony probation and consented to a search, the officers found heroin and marijuana in the vehicle,” Sgt. Richard Lewis told people.com. Although Redmond was determined not to have been under the influence of drugs, he was booked and held without bail. He’ll appear in court on Thursday.

That’s sad. I thought he looked really good on that show, he seems to be really caring with his aging dad.
