Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will reunite at The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II premiere.
The 26-year-old actor - who was left heartbroken in July after his girlfriend and co-star was caught cheating with married Snow White & the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders - has agreed to be "professional" and attend the Los Angeles screening with Stewart in November because he is worried about how fans will react when they see her.
A source told The Sun: "He's told movie bosses he'll walk the red carpet to save her from embarrassment and any female fans booing her. He is being professional and taking the higher moral ground."
Although Robert has agreed to fulfill his commitments to the movie franchise - in which he plays Edward Cullen opposite Kristen as his wife, Bella Swan - he is said to be "not interested" in speaking with the actress, which is causing problems for film bosses.
An insider commented: "She really wants him back but Rob is not interested in talking to her right now and that is certainly making things difficult for the plans on doing any press together for when Twilight comes out."
Kristen - who is believed to have had little contact with Robert since the scandal unfolded - recently pulled out of the London premiere of her new film On The Road because of fears of a backlash from fans of the British actor.

That's nice of him. Too nice. Let her feel the fans wrath. She deserves it.
Puh-lease. Fans are vicious towards celebrities they like, harassing them, grabbing at their clothes, insisting on hugs, following them - it's aggressive. Let it go people. If you line up to go to the outside of a movie premiere just to boo someone you don't know, you need more productive hobbies.
No doubt that Pattinson is the definition of gentleman, and Stewart really blew it, however, she made a terrible error which happens every day, which often reaps unpleasant consequences. She doesn't deserve the boos. If she does, I would hazard a guess that most of the people booing are hypocrites.
Bravo Pattinson. Even though Stewart made a huge mistake, she is paying for it and I don't think it fair she take all the blame, after all it does take two to tango, and the guy is older he should have had some common sense as well. They say if you really love, you won't cheat, but again they say if you really love, you will forgive.
BM: Beautiful words. You hit the nail right on the head
I totally agree with BM. If they were meant to be together, he would forgive her and take her back. Women do it all the time, even wives of VERY public figures, ie Hilary Clinton. No one knows what was going on in their relationship that drove her into another's arms. Only the immature would be booing her; it is great that he is rising above his initial impulse to not show up to any place where Kristen would be, but perhaps that is due to his handlers' urging. Makes him look good, doesn't it? I do feel for Robert but it does take two to make a relationship work.
Wow, NO ONE could have seen this coming...
Nicely said BM
