Robin Williams marries for third time

By Alexandra Heilbron on October 25, 2011 | 4 Comments

Robin Williams, 60, walked down the aisle for the third time on Sunday, this time with 47-year-old graphic designer Susan Schneider. He was previously married to Valerie Velardi from 1978 to 1988, with whom he has a son, Zachary, 28. Following an affair with a cocktail waitress, who sued him in 1986 after discovering he had transmitted the herpes simplex virus to her, he had an affair with his son’s nanny, Marsha Garces. When the nanny became pregnant, Williams divorced his wife and married her. Garces and Williams have a daughter, Zelda, 22, and a son, Cody, 19, but she filed for divorce in 2008 due to his continued infidelity. He met Schneider shortly before undergoing heart surgery in 2009. Hopefully the third time’s a charm for Williams.
