Russell Brand Russell Brand is throwing a party to celebrate 10 years of sobriety and has invited Katy Perry's parents along. The former heroin addict will hold the bash in Los Angeles and plans to fly in family, friends and fellow patients from the rehab center where he was treated in London. Katy's mother and father, Keith and Mary Hudson, will also be on the guest list as he has remained close to them despite his divorce from their daughter. A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Russell plans to celebrate with all the people who have helped him over the years. His guest list will include people at the recovery center he attended in London, close friends, family, and Katy's parents Keith and Mary Hudson. They were really good to Russell during his marriage to their daughter, even when things got messy towards the end. Keith still rings Russell every few weeks to check up on him." Russell is also planning to pay for flights for his U.K.-based friends because celebrating this milestone is so important to him. The insider added: "He'll pay for everyone's travel to the bash, which he wants to hold at his Los Angeles home to make sure everyone can make it. He knows it will be a lot of work because of the amount of people he's inviting from the U.K. But Russell is never scared of a challenge and is determined to pull it off. It's his way of saying thank you to everyone who helped him get where he is today."

Ouchh that's kind of a huge slap in the face if he invited her parents but not her!

I wouldn't be surprised if she crashes it...totally seems like something she would do, stupid and immature!

we should actually start to recognize and give kudos to those in the BIZ that never become addicts instead of celebrating those that have overcome it.
