Ryan Gosling is preparing to propose to Eva Mendes.
While the 38-year-old actress has insisted in the past that she doesn't want to get married, Ryan, 31, believes he can convince her otherwise. He's reportedly ready to tell her their future lies with each other and the natural thing to do would be to tie the knot. A source said: "Ryan is head over heels in love with Eva and he wants to have a life with her, including children. It's something Eva has balked at in the past but Ryan has a charming way of helping her see a different kind of future. She's getting on board with the idea of marriage."
One way Ryan is trying to convince Eva - whom he has been dating since May - is promising her they can start a family as soon as they are wed.
The source added to the National Enquirer: "He is now confident when he pops the question she will say yes. Ryan wants children, as does Eva, but also believes in marriage and youngsters growing up knowing mommy and daddy are committed to each other."

How do they know all this about what he's thinking and his marriage plans with this woman... are they clairvoyant... and why would he divulge such intimate details of his plans to complete strangers... always curious how they get such nitty gritty details? Please confess??

@Eleanor - Really?! Clairvoyant? That's the conclusion you came to as to how the source knows this info? The source could be an employee, friend, etc. Or the whole thing could be made up. It is kind of moronic to assume that he would be telling this info to a stranger.
On another note, hopefully it works out for Ryan and Eva.

This sounds like it was written by some dorky Harlequin Romance writer... As for Ryan and Eva... they just don't look right... she should be with someone dark and manly like Javier Bardem. They just don't look right together, and especially with that ridiculous turban she wore. What's up with that?!
