Ryan O’Neal thinks he may have caused Farrah’s cancer

Ryan O’Neal told Vanity Fair that he believes he may have caused Farrah Fawcett to contract cancer. The couple had a tumultuous on-and-off relationship for 20 years that produced one son, Redmond. He said to the magazine, “I’d love to do it over. I would have been much kinder, most understanding, more mature. I’d lose some of the savagery. I don’t know how she got cancer – maybe some of it was me.” Ryan’s eldest son, Griffin, told Larry King: “My dad’s a very, very violent man.” He said his father was jealous of the attention Farrah got due to her illness, calling him “an absolute complete narcissist in every way.” Griffen also claims Ryan first gave him cocaine when he was 11, so he would sit through a long movie (Barry Lyndon, starring Ryan), and years later provided Redmond with a steady supply of drugs and cash to buy drugs. Ryan O’Neal was never a favorite of mine.Griffen sounds very bitter and I don’t blame him he never had a father in O’Neal all that man did was screw up his kids lives. Tatum,Griffen and Redmond. Farrah played it smart by leaving everything to her son. I hope Griffen gets on with his life and stays sober and stays away from O’Neal who is the root of this young mans problems. If he actually did give Griffen drugs at eleven he should be thrown in Jail

I agree with everything that has been posted here on the blog, BUT did any of you watch her 2 hour special that Alana and Ryan taped of her during her last year? You can still love someone but be a bad father and it JUST showed how much he did love her, took care of her etc., BUT that is my ONLY point in Ryan’s defense, otherwise he was not a good father to any of his children (they have all attested to that) and he cheated on Farrah when they first married, so I guess Redmond telling all on Larry was Ryan’s karma coming back to get him for what he had done!! I just pray that Redmond will get clean, if not for himself, for his mothers memory!!

If you had of really read about what happened with his daughter, then you would know the REAL story behind it and know that he did not know who he was speaking to until he saw her. Also, when you write in capitals you are screaming at people, not very classy!!

April showers is mad cause Fumja’s right. Ryan shouldn’t be hittin on any chick at his true loves funeral if he really loved her. I must add too that using CAPS doesn’t mean your screaming some people always type that way, get over it.
True, hitting on anyone at a funeral is just sick. And as far as him thinking he may have caused her cancer, wtf is WRONG with that man??? If he could do it over again, he would “lose some of the savagery”? I highly doubt that.
