Ryan Reynolds: Buried Alive

By Paul on January 26, 2010 | 3 Comments

ryanreynoldsRyan Reynolds’s new film, Buried—set entirely in a coffin—received the first big distribution deal at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. But according to MTV News, the film’s plot may prove a bit tricky to market to people—especially claustrophobic ones. In Buried, Reynolds plays a truck driver who is captured in Iraq, buried alive and told to come up with $5 million in ransom money before the air escapes from his coffin. The studio hasn’t yet settled on a release date for the film, but Reynolds fans can look for him in 2011’s Green Lantern, in which he plays the title comic book character who becomes part of an intergalactic peacekeeping team.  ~Clare Hill

I like Ryan Reynolds but I can’t picture him as a Hal Jordan for Green Lantern.
