Maybe it’s that alleged “honeymoon phase” that keeps fooling Safe House star Ryan Reynolds. He has been dating his current girlfriend, Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively (11 years his junior) for a short time now, but sources are saying the couple is looking for engagement rings. The two have been awfully close lately, taking romantic picnics and spending time together at Disneyland. Reynolds was engaged to fellow Canadian, singer Alanis Morissette, whom he met in 2002, but the two eventually called it off. In 2007, he began dating actress Scarlett Johansson — they married in 2008 but separated two years later. He has been linked to a few other celebs such as Sandra Bullock, but things seem to be heating up quickly with Lively. ~Renita Naraine

Facts are all wrong….Ryan was engaged to Alanis from 2004 to 2006. Ryan married Scarlett in 2008 and was married for 2 years.
Now, if only the split will come before they start filming for GL2.
Seems both your facts may be correct. The article says in 2002 he was “engaged”, and in 2007 he was “dating”.

Mitch and TheTruth, you both are mixed up! (unless you meant to say incorrect TheTruth) He “met” Alanis in 2002, t doesn’t say he was engaged in 2002.
I have an idea. Why not save the cash and send it to help somewhere in the world that can use the money. Im not rich but if i was rick my wife would kill me for spending tons of cash when there are so many worthy causes out there to help finance.
