Sandra Bullock Sandra Bullock has been named Hollywood's highest-earning actress. The 50-year-old beauty has topped Forbes' annual ranking of the highest paid female movie stars after making a reported $51 million between June 2013 and June 2014, which was largely due to her leading role in the Oscar-winning movie Gravity. Jennifer Lawrence climbed into second place with an estimated $34 million thanks to her successful role in the Hunger Games franchise, while Jennifer Aniston followed closely behind with a reported $31 million. Gwyneth Paltrow landed in fourth place with an estimated $19 million following her work in Iron Man 3, while last year's top-earner Angelina Jolie found herself in joint fifth place with Cameron Diaz after making an estimated $18 million over the 12-month period.

Meanwhile, the list also drew attention to the fact that men are still earning more than women in Hollywood as the top 10 actors - which included the likes of Robert Downey Jr., Leonardo DiCaprio and Bradley Cooper - earned a total of $419 million, while the women made just over half that with a combined total of $226 million.

The top 10 list of highest paid actresses in 2014 are as follows:

1. Sandra Bullock - $51 million
2. Jennifer Lawrence - $34 million
3. Jennifer Aniston - $31 million
4. Gwyneth Paltrow - $19 million

I find all actors are paid too much, whether female or male, but it’s typical that men are paid more for the same job. We think we’ve come a long way, but we really haven’t. Not only that, but women pay more for their clothes, for haircuts, for car repairs, etc.

Women pay more for stuff because they are too dumb not too! The market place knows this, they know women can be vain to the point they will pay through the nose for stuff men don’t and that is why you pay more for most stuff. The market charges what they can get away with, you don’t want to pay higher prices then stop paying higher prices. LOL! We all know that won’t happen!

Listen Sparky, if you were told it’s $30 for a haircut or you don’t get one (even though it’s $20 for the opposite gender), what would you do? Never get your hair cut? We’re not vain, but we need clothing etc and btw, I shop second hand only now, I can’t afford anything new. And I go to the hairdressers that charge the same for men and women. But I still think it’s unfair that the other ones charge different for men and women. They say it’s because women have longer hair but that’s not always the case. All I want is a trim, no fancy stuff and still I have to pay through the nose. And I suppose you think women are paid less than men for the same job also because they’re vain? That doesn’t even make sense. And I know way more vain men than women, by the way. Men all think they’re God’s gift. Here’s a tip, work out, actually get a haircut (God knows you guys can afford it since you make more and pay less) and take care of yourselves before thinking any woman will be interested in you.
