Sean Penn and Charlize TheronSean Penn is hooked on The Bachelor.

The 54-year-old actor and girlfriend Charlize Theron are huge fans of the reality show, but he can’t bear to watch the decision-making process, preferring to see the outcome when people ”cry.”

He said: ”We argue about whether or not we should fast forward. I don’t really want to hear the conversations. I wanna know the decisions. Is he going to decide on this one or this one and I want to see someone cry. And then see someone get ecstatic and then see them cry.”

The Gunman star also joked about the show’s hunk Chris Soules’ resemblance to another Hollywood star.

He laughed to talk show host Jimmy Kimmel: ”I can’t believe they got Matthew McConaughey to be the bachelor and call himself something different.”

Sean is already looking forward to the next series of The Bachelorette, which, in a new twist, will see two Bachelor contestants, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson, compete for the men’s affections. Sean already knows who he hopes will find love on the show.

He said: ”It’s gonna have to be Kaitlyn.”
